Cute Admiration Card

Hey everybody after spending what seemed like thee most amazing weekend  in 2014! I came out of CHA 2014 totally inspired to make a card! Chinese Lantern

Ok so I wanted to name this piece my masterpiece, however I wanted to let it settle down first so I waited a week to blog about it to see if I still felt the same about it and yes this is my masterpiece. This piece was inspired by a picture on google images and I tried recreating it and I ended up creating this which is much better in my opinion. I have noticed something though, the way my painting will turn out depends on who I am creating for;meaning my first painting, the cherry blossoms was for my love and it came out perfect! This second painting was created for my parents and it came out superb (in my eyes). So after the second painting, I thought I could paint anything I wanted so I started painting something to hang in our laundry room since there is a lot of empty space on the walls there, it came out horrible then I covered it and painted over it and now....

Cherry Blossoms on Canvas

Hello world!!! You know that feeling like there's  a lump in your throat and you just want to scream with excitement, wait more like squeal?!@ Well that is how I feel every time I look at this painting now that it is hanging in my living room! I am so happy I can share this with the world through the power of the internet. My true inspiration was my wonderful fiancé who is always trying to expand my artistic point of view and pushing me to try new things. So this painting was truly created with love, every single brush stroke that went on this canvas. I hope you all like it and if you have not given painting on canvas a try then maybe this will inspire someone.Did I mention it is an amazing stress reliever? Absolutely addicted!

New art

Been wrapped up with life I haven't been able to enjoy anything. Not complaining, simply stating sometimes we just get used to being on autopilot. For example, have you ever arrived home without even releasing you didn't really enjoy the ride home because you were thinking while you were driving. That's how I have been for the last couple of months just trying to get through with juggling schedules with work and kiddos extra curricular activities and sports.

Now that I have two weeks off on vacation, my goal is to enjoy as much time possible with my children and squeeze in some art time. I have a new inspiration in my life and I must say I love love love her! Andrea Gomoll is a genius! I can relieve whatever emotion I am feeling through this art. I will be sharing my journal on my YouTube channel when it is completed but for now I will be posting a picture every now and then here on my blog to share with anyone who wants to see them...if you are reading this then maybe you kept reading because you can relate to the "autopilot" term and you should give water coloring a try =} let me know I would like to see =}

Magical Fairy Chest

Magical Fairy Chest I created with wooden chest and "enchanted fairy" from Kaisercraft (CHA 2013). Created the front banner to say 'scrapperncrafter' and added diamond dust on the sides along with tons of embellishments. Check out the YouTube video on my channel (scrapperncrafter).
